Coronovirus latest. The worst of the restrictions have now been lifted but we are still not back to normal and have neglected updating the website. The only regular hours meantime are a Saturday afternoon and evening, and the Canongate Codgers are running a Scottish Ceilidh night every Friday evening, and there are occasional other events. In order for us to continue to function properly we do require to find at least one more bar staff person for Saturday evenings from 6.30 until 11.30, with possible other occasional shifts.

Entertainment & Activities Friday Evenings - Ceilidh Dances with Canongate Codgers Saturday evenings – Bingo and live musical entertainers. Although we are normally closed during the day from Monday to Friday we are pleased to welcome visiting parties by arrangement and meals or snacks can be provided. Application in writing or by phone should be made to the Social Convener, Mrs. Veronica Clark. This also applies to private functions such as wedding receptions, birthday parties, retirement parties, funeral teas etc. The main hall and the upstairs lounge are both available any day for private functions.
